Looking through all of the blogs I came across Teyla Pitassi's and was really impressed! The layout is neat and easy to read, and I love how she incorporated photos of her leadership journey this far. You can really tell that she has thought about her leadership style, especially as of late, and is really trying to identify certain situations and the leadership style she should use when she's at work. You can't always react to every situation the same way and really look at it in different ways to make sure you handle it in the best way possible. I have been trying to do the same thing and be more self aware and ready to take on any situation that comes my way.
I really enjoyed looking at Rachel Parker's blog, she is very clear getting her point across and is very easy to read. Also some of the quotes she puts on there I really resonate with, or it makes me laugh. For example, her quote that said, "Be a Pineapple. Stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside." Especially since the symbol for hospitality is a pineapple, it was very clever.
I like being able to see everyone's blogs and read about their leadership journey through their school and work life so far and where they want to take their careers. It's really encouraging and inspiring to read everyone's thoughts and views and I look forward to seeing where people take their careers.
